26-2464 Jr. Indirect Material Buyer

Responsible for the purchase of materials for production, components, equipment, tooling, MRO, items and services using current and new suppliers, taking care of quality to deliver goods and services on time. Know and apply the concepts, practices and procedures of the purchasing function to meet the company's needs.

Main functions, responsabilities:

• Negotiate supply contracts that meet or exceed the offer, the quality of the material, the goals and commercial objectives established by the company.
• Make bids and comparative tables for products or services at your expense.
• Review and evaluate the performance of indirect suppliers to maintain an adequate supply of materials and services.
• Elaborate and send purchase orders according to the purchasing procedure.
• Update the price list for items with part number in SAP system.
• Quote requests from internal customers to determine the best purchase option.
• Establish good communication with suppliers and internal customers to make the best purchasing decision.

Scholarship:

-Bachelor Degree International Business, Industrial Engineering, Management or related.

Experience:

-2-3 years in indirect purchasing department (automotive industry desirable)

Technical Knowledge:

• SAP knowledge (SBO).
• Office (Excel).
• Quality system knowledge.
• Cost management.
• Basic knowledge of INCOTERMS.

Abilities:

-Intermediate English.
